The Town Center is located at the main entrance of Habersham. As the neighborhood grows, the need for small businesses will grow as well. In planning Habersham, we designed the main entrance to include several commercial buildings. The architecture in the Town Center will be similar to historic main street buildings found throughout the region. The buildings will define the street and include retail spaces on the first floor and office or residential spaces on the second floor. Our current roster of businesses, pictured in the lower-left frame, provide a variety of services from fine dining to interior design. Click on a shop's logo for more information!
Included in the Town Center are the Habersham Post Office, Fire Department and Information Center. These civic structures are the existing cornerstones of what will grow to be a center of activity that provides the conveniences of a self-supportive community.
An important feature of the Town Center is the freedom that it will offer for both young and old. Children who are typically shuttled by their parents or seniors that are unable to drive will be able to walk to the Town Center for groceries, ice cream or a newspaper. For the fortunate ones who live in Habersham and work in the town center, the only morning traffic they will face will be that of other walkers and joggers sharing the same sidewalk.
