Gooding Contractors, Inc., has been a member of the Habersham Home Builder’s League since 2004. Co-owners Brad Bowden and Lance Gooding both come from backgrounds in family owned and operated General Contracting Companies and bring their grandfathers’ and fathers’ skills and values of honest and personal involvement to the construction process.
Brad Bowden is a 1993 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science and Management. After working for over a decade in the construction industry near Atlanta, Georgia, Brad and his family relocated to Beaufort, SC and the beautiful neighborhood of Habersham.
Lance Gooding is also a 1993 graduate of Clemson with a degree in Construction Science and Management. Lance joined his family owned and operated construction business after college. Gooding Contractors, Inc. has been a driving force in the construction industry in the Lowcountry for over 35 years.
In 2003, Brad and Lance combined their resources to focus on commercial and residential construction projects in the Beaufort area. Projects include custom and market homes in Habersham, Coosaw Point and Brays Island, as well as commercial projects including Orchid Salon, the Grays Hill Fire Station, and the Habersham Tennis House. Gooding Contractors, Inc. maintains an office in Habersham Town Center as well as the original office in Hampton, SC.
Gooding Contractors' key to success is their relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. These relationships develop and evoke trust and confidence within the construction team and lead into an innovative project management approach. Both Brad and Lance are dedicated to the traditions they come from and to the community and customers they and their team serve.
