CPR & Automatic External Defebrillator (AED) Instruction

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20th
9:00 to 12 noon @ Habersham’s Park House

Please e-mail Pat Sheehan at onwestpond@hargray.com to sign up for this life saving instruction/certification. Class size is limited and will be based on instructors’ availability. There is a 1: 8 instructor/student ratio so please let Pat know by Feb 12th if you wish to attend. There is a nominal $10 fee for instruction, equipment, & certificate processing.

The class will include both adult & pediatric CPR so, parents & teens, please consider attending! If you have previously been certified & need to renew your certification, this is an opportunity to do so!

Kids Tennis Lessons on Tuesdays in Habersham!

Professional tennis instruction from the area’s best coaches. Six week sessions for $100 registration.
Start your lessons in February and your first lesson is FREE!

Ages 5-10 will learn the game of tennis by using a new USTA program called QuickStart Tennis. Through teh use of smaller courts, nets, rackets and slower balls, kids will be playing tennis almost immediately. Kids will have fun playing and develop skills that will be the foundation of their game.

Ages 5-8 from 4:00 to 5:00 - Kids will learn using QuickStart Tennis
Ages 8-10 from 4:30 to 5:30 - Kids will learn using QuickStart Tennis
Ages 10-16 from 4:30 to 5:30 - Full court, traditional tennis

The Storybook Shoppe To Host Free Holiday Story Times

Special Guests The Sugar Plum Fairy and Santa Claus to Usher in the Season…

The Storybook Shoppe, owned by Nancy Beaupre and located at 23B-1 Market St. in the heart of the Habersham Marketplace in Beaufort, will host two holiday guests for its December holiday story times. The Sugar Plum Fairy, with the help of Beaufort’s Studio B Dance Centre, will bring holiday stories to life Saturday, December 5 at 10:30 a.m., while Santa Claus will stop by the bookstore on Saturday, December 19, at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to read a few classics and spread holiday cheer. The holiday story times are free and open to children preschool age and up, but reservations are required as space is limited. Beaufort Ghost Tours in Historic Downtown

The Beaufort Exchange Club presents their annual Beaufort Ghost Tours to benefit CAPA
All proceeds benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Association of Beaufort County.

Costumed storytellers spellbind tour participants with tales of ghostly happenings in some of Beaufort’s oldest residences located in the historic district and beyond. The oldest ghost in America is said to live in the Castle, a 19th century renovated estate currently on the market. Ghostly visions have been known to appear on past tours which take about 45 minutes to one hour. Some of Beaufort’s oldest residents have shared stories from their childhood. This event, now in its 15th year, attracts hundreds of participants from around the county.

By horse-drawn carriage or on an accompanied walk—you decide! Tickets: $10 each Walk or $10-18 each for Carriage Ride.

Walks: Oct. 23-24 & Oct. 29-30 starting across the street from 611 Bay Street.

Plums Inc. proudly announces the opening of Bistro Patois in the Habersham Marketplace and is planning a Grand Opening Celebration to honor its new venture.
